An extra event that missed our Festival programme!

15-19 August

Daily 11am and 2pm

Leaving from the Marina at Hebden Bridge, the morning walk will be an easy stroll along the towpath to discover what type of species live along the canal and will last no more than an hour.

The second walk in the afternoon (leaving from the same place) will be a little longer, incorporating Hardcastle Crags (the local National Trust site), but will still be a relatively easy walk, highlighting the birds and wildlife living on and around the canal.

RSPB stands will be set up at the Hebden Bridge Marina (outside the Canal and Tourist Information Centre) from Monday 15th – Friday 19th August, 10am until 5pm.

Bird books will be provided on the walks, but walkers should bring their own binoculars with them if possible.

No need to book – just turn up.  For any further information prior to the walks ring Jo on: 07595 655 177
